Observations of this star will follow up results obtained with the Hubble Space Telescope (HST). The HST results have shown large UV spectropolarimetric variability from this Luminous Blue Variable. An additional data point from WUPPE will be useful to lengthen the baseline of observations, especially since HST no longer has polarimetric capability.
