OBJECT: Zeta Tau (ZET-TAU)
Other names: HD 37202
ID # 2209

UW Astronomer: Karen Bjorkman

Observed on Astro-1, Zet-Tau will again be observed by WUPPE on Astro-2 in order to get a better signal-to-noise (S/N) ratio and to determine whether iron (Fe) line depolarization changes with time. This information will allow us to proceed with our theoretical modelling attempts. A longer observation time is scheduled for Zet-Tau during the Astro-2 mission in hopes that it might give enough signal to determine if any line effects around the Carbon IV (CIV) wind line exist.
