Telemetry (Observatory Status):

Go to the "Telemetry" screen by clicking on the "Telemetry" tab.

Here is an example of what you will see. The front panel shows basic observing information, including target coordinates, the current time (many versions of it!), hour angle, air mass, and so on. The telemetry panel hosts a 2nd row of buttons that allows you to select other status panels. These panels include information on electronics, the Imager, Hydra, optics, and guiding.

You can learn a lot about what's going on at the observatory by looking at these pages. For example, the Weather page shows a lot of water vapor in the air, but the System page shows that the main electronics are on, and the MOS rotator is powered up. Looks like a Hydra night. The Hydra page shows that the Hydra guider FOPS have been assigned and positioned. The Optics page shows that the mirror covers are open, but here we see that the dome brake is still on. Probably not observing yet. The Video panel, with the dome camera selected, shows that the telescope is pointing at the illuminated white screen, so evidently a calibration is underway.
